What You'll Do
Kalamuna’s Strategic Account Manager (AM), is a client-facing role that acts as a high-level liaison with client stakeholders and contacts. You typically engage towards the end of the sales cycle to supervise contract execution and buy-in from all parties and maintain the relationship going forward. AMs are responsible, along with other members of the Services team, for the forecasting of new projects and team formation, providing budget oversight and report thereon to the Client, as well as to the project’s internal Executive Stakeholder.
Client satisfaction is your primary mandate. You'll translate expressed or anticipated needs into work within existing contracts, and into opportunities for new work by developing longer term digital strategies with the client. You will nurture and grow accounts, seek referrals, and occasions to promote the value of our work to internal stakeholders, the client’s community, and, in collaboration with Marketing, our social network. Ultimately, you will be responsible for predicting, planning, and tracking long-term engagements, so ideally you are also a team player who can pitch in to help where needed.
Qualifications
- Engaging toward the end of the sales cycle to supervise contract execution and buy-in from all parties
- Participation in CRM process and strategy
- Leveraging subject matter experts for pre- and post-sales strategy
- Managing internal and client staff toward accurate forecasting, time tracking, and deliverables for projects
- Reporting on the health (and profitability) of ongoing accounts
- Initial setup of project systems; onboarding clients and contractors to systems
- Maintaining and nurturing existing strategic client relationships by communicating effectively at all client levels including executive forecasting
- Experience with SOWs, MCAs, and other agency contracting vehicles
- Ensuring the health and upkeep of a billing pipeline
- Reporting on project budgets, team utilization, and overall progress towards defined milestones
- Familiarity with agile process
