Come with a challenge, leave with a solution. The BADCamp Nonprofit Summit (NPS) is back in Berkeley for 2018 with even more opportunities for nonprofits and developers to collaborate, learn, and grow!

We’ve got a full day of small-group breakout sessions, all led by nonprofit tech experts. Come to discover new tools and strategies, learn how to use them, and make contacts with other members of the Drupal nonprofit community.

One of the key features of the nonprofit summit is that we take an “unconference” approach followed up with an interactive workshop.

We don’t want structured agendas, formal presentations, or panelists with carefully curated responses. What we want is you! The day should be a collaborative one that gets your questions answered and helps you network with like-minded folks.

Last year topics & potential 2018 topics include:

  • Drupal 8
  • User Experience
  • Design
  • Web Teams
  • Integrations
  • Support
  • Stakeholders
  • Communication Strategies
  • DevOps
  • Frontend
  • Requirements Gathering
  • Project Management
  • Accessibility
  • User Research

This year on Wednesday, October 24th, we want to evolve the summit to be even more closely aligned than ever to serve nonprofit attendees and we would love your feedback. The community is so important to us and before crafting the final agenda for the day, we want to hear from you all to help make this the most impactful experience possible.

We want an inclusive event and would love your feedback and input. Everyone has something to contribute. Please fill out this survey and help us co-create an amazing day!

Agenda Hacking

The morning of the summit, we’ll do a big agenda hack. Agenda hacking is a chance for everyone to share what they want to discuss, in the moment, the day of the event. So we’ll have Sharpie pens and sticky notes at the ready! We’ll divide the collected ideas into topical groups. Based on the topics, we will create working sessions on what you care about most.

Working Sessions

Subject matter experts will facilitate working sessions driven by the participants through open dialogue and knowledge sharing. As a group, we will set a single goal for the session, establish the means to achieve our goal, and make sure we capture all the goodness we’ve learned at the end. Bring your positive energy, collaborative instincts, and a goal-oriented focus!
